How many final images can I expect?
For your 1 hour engagement session, you’ll get a minimum of 75 images.
For my one-shooter wedding package, you’ll receive a minimum of 600 images. For my two-shooter wedding package, you’ll receive a minimum of 800 final images.
Seniors & other sessions vary! Contact me for details.
What about black & white images?
I include a selection of your images in black & white in your gallery. While I’m editing I choose images that I believe are particularly suited for black and white and those are the ones I include. If you want to see a different photo in black & white - just ask!
What is the deposit?
I take a 20% deposit at the time of booking to reserve your date, and we’ll also sign the contract at that time. You can pay with cash, check or credit card!
I require payment in full 30 days before your wedding date, but you can spread them out as much as you’d like from the booking date. Just let me know and I’ll set my online system up accordingly!
How will my images be delivered?
Your wedding album will be delivered via online digital gallery 6-8 weeks after your wedding date. These images are high-resolution, highest quality and can be downloaded, shared, and printed in all formats & sizes directly from the link provided!
Family, Senior Portraits and other sessions will follow a proofing process. Low-res proofs will be provided, you’ll make your selections for editing, and then I’ll deliver the edited, high-resolution files within 2 weeks of your choices being made.
Can I order physical albums?
Yes! I’ll work with you to choose style, images, and design layouts for the perfect wedding album. I order my albums from KISS books, and they are crazy beautiful and very customizable. Budget friendly options available, and many of my couples wait until the first anniversary to order! I’ll send along an informational packet, and feel free to reach out when you’re ready.
What kind of editing does my package include?
I shoot and edit my photos to a classic, light, airy finish with a focus on skin tones. I also remove distracting elements (electrical wires, phone poles, a stray car going by, stray hairs or noticeable wrinkles in clothes) to give images a “notch-above-real-life” aesthetic. Black & white edits are included in your package.
Because editing is a highly creative and work-intensive practice based on a photographer’s style and eye, I don’t do re-edits. I hand-edit each image individually, and the images delivered to you have been finalized with time, care, and a little piece of my heart and soul! They’re guaranteed to be consistent with the work in my portfolio, but editing and image expectations based on other’s work you’ve seen on various places across the internet will not be honored.
Heavy photoshopping of images is available (manipulation of body parts, changing of an entire background, etc.) for an additional $20 per image charge. You can order these from me at any time after receipt of your digital album.
I’m worried my partner and I are going to be awkward in front of the camera!
This is SO understandable. Normal people in their daily lives aren’t used to being in front of the camera! During your engagement session we’ll warm up with some easy poses and these more casual and low-pressure sessions are great for getting comfortable with me and with being in front of the camera. I’ll help guide you, always give your hands a job so you’re not wondering where they go, and make you both posing experts on your wedding day. You’ve GOT this!
What should we wear to our engagement session?
Don’t worry, once you’ve booked, I’ll send you a style guide!
Can I share photos of my wedding day with other vendors?
Yes, but when using one of my images on their website, social media, or anywhere else, they must give me proper credit. They are not permitted to use my work without asking me for permission, so feel free to give them my contact info if they ask! I try to connect with them on your wedding day, so we can correspond directly, as well.
